Angelcare Animal Hospital

Dermatology: Our Hospital speciality. Angelcare offers and treats the following: Major/ minor skin & ear problems, Excessive Itching, Hair loss, Allergies, Raw irritated skin, Skin & ear parasites, Intradermal skin test (Allergy skin test), Elimination Diets, Skin & ear disease.

Therapeutic Services:  Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs.  
                    
Surgical Services:  Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
   
Anesthesia:  We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Radiology Services:  Our on-site, X-ray equipment provides quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders.
     
Dentistry:  Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions and minor oral surgery.
   
Laboratory:  Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations.
    
Permanent identification: We offer tattooing and microchip identification.
    
Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets.
   
Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Quarantine: If you are required to do any form of in-hospital quarantine, Angelcare's trained staff will be there to assist you and take great care of your pet.


Angelcare Pet Resort

Boarding: we offer size appropriate sleeping facilities for your pets stay, beds & blankets, Daily feedings, with many potty breaks. Each time your pet goes outside he/she will be walked by a staff member to the spacious yards. NO guillotine-style doors here!

Supervised playtimes: Your dog will be allowed to romp and play with other dogs under the supervision of a staff member. Your dog not social?  No problem, we offer one-on-one playtimes with staff for those loner dogs. (REMINDER: all dogs showing aggression will be segregated from the group play times and given one-on-one playtimes.) One supervised playtime per day is included with each night of your pet's stay.

Bathing: Angelcare has a large grooming room. Hydrosurge baths are available upon request. 

Kitty Cuddle time: Want your cat to get some extra attention during its stay? A staff memeber will take out your pet and play, cuddle, and generally spend time with your beloved cat. 

Off-property walks: Trained staff can take your pet off Angelcare property and take them on a stroll in the surrounding areas.

Pet-Taxi: Staff members can pick your pet up or drop them off for your boarding needs.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Obedience: all levels, group or personal classes, Problem cases.

Agility: Large yards for practice and a variety of training and conditioning equipment.

Tracking & Protection: Angelcare has trained staff that is knowledgeable on the correct way to train a dog to do tracking and protection work.
