Vaccination
and
Preventative Medicine Schedules
Canines:
- DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus): Given at
8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 weeks of age, 12, 24, 36 months, Boost every 3 years.
- Leptospirosis: Given at 12 & 14 weeks, boost annually.
- BV (Bordetella): Given at 16 weeks of age, then annually.
- Rabies (1 or 3 year available): Given at 16 weeks of age, 12 months, Then boosted every 1 or 3 years.
- Intestinal Parasite Screening: (Fecal) done annually or bi-annually if boarding.
- Heartworm Testing: done annually after 6 months of age.
- Heartworm Preventatives: Given year round, starting as early as possible to prevent the deadly heartworm disease.
Felines:
- FVRCP (Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus, Panleukopenia, Pneumonitis): Given at 8, 11, 14, and 16 weeks of age, and at 12, 24, 36 months of age, and boosted every 3 years

Rabies (1 or 3 year available): Given at 16 weeks & 12 months of age, followed by a 1 or 3 year boost.

Feline Leukemia/FIV(feline AIDS) Testing: done after 8 weeks of age. Then as needed. Annually for indoor/outdoor cats.

Feline Leukemia Vaccine: Given at 11 & 14 weeks of age, then annually to prevent the deadly Feline Leukemia
