Pet Portrait Studio
In light of increasing requests for pet portraits, Angelcare has expanded its facility to include a Pet Portrait Studio. We offer individual portraits
and packages as well. Portrait sessions are by appointment only, but many of our
clients prefer to have the portrait taken while boarding at a reduced fee. We
have a wide variety of background options and colors.
Vacation Boarding
Remember to make your weekend or holiday reservations early, as we fill up fast!
Boarding for dogs is $30-40 per night and that includes
one 15-20 minute playtime, either with
other dogs as a playgroup, or playing ball, tug-rope or even simple grooming with
a member of our staff. We serve a dry mixture of food daily (canned food is
optional), but you
are more than welcome to bring food from home. We will provide dishes and all
bedding. We welcome nylabones, kongs or rolled rawhides for chew toys, but ask that no items be
brought that could present 
a
hazard (knotted rawhides, stuffed toys, etc) or possibly get lost among our
laundry. Large dogs are boarded in a 4 x 7 foot kennel run, and smaller dogs
are placed in spacious bungalows. Senior and toy dogs
are housed in separate wings which allow for more frequent human interaction and
monitoring of their health. All canine boarders will receive outdoor potty
breaks, where we will actually walk your pet outside to go potty and not use
the guillotine-style door, like most kennels. This provides your companion
with a lot of human interaction throughout the day and spacious
bathroom areas! Your pet will also receive 24hr. access to water and
(Siblings CAN play together...) snack-time twice daily. Have a frisky
canine who would love to go out to play more often? We can provide up to to
four playtimes daily for your pet! Or perhaps your pet would love Off-Property
Walks or Field Trips for a change of scenery? Or how about Refresher Training
while you're away? Just ask our receptionist about these options when you make your reservation!
For our feline friends, we offer furnished cat condos at rates of $16 - $20 per night depending on condo size and based on one cat occupancy. Siblings will be at an additional reduced fee. Food can be brought from home, or we can feed them our dry (canned food is optional) food. Ask about our Kitty Kuddle Time, where your precious feline can come out and play with us for 15 minutes, or simply explore our spacious facility!
For
our furry or feathered friends, boarding is $10-$14 per night, depending on species.
We board rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, hamsters and even some reptiles! We ask that
you bring in food, bedding, and toys. Want to keep them in their
own personal cage...you can bring that in too! We offer small animal playtimes
with a member of the staff. We also
can trim nails and/or wings while they are with us. Ferrets are required to be
current with Rabies and Distemper vaccines, and all species must have had a
negative Intestinal Parasite Screen within the last
6 months. We can run a screening when they arrive, or you can bring in a copy
of your vet records when you check in. We simply don't want
anyone coming in or leaving with anything...pets AND people.

Grooming
Angelcare Pet
Resort offers exit baths prior to going home after boarding, or walk-in baths whenever your pet needs it. Bath, brush out, blow dry, ear
flush, nail trim, application of coat conditioner, and a bandanna included in
price. Prices vary depending on breed, coat length, and temperament, so please
call for further information and to set up your appointment.
Relaxation Massage
Massage your pet's
stress away while boarding with us! 30 minute
sessions are $20. **Perfect for senior dogs who do not enjoy as much activity.
Or drop your
pet off for a massage to reduce stress, anxiety, signs of aging, and hyperactivity.
30 minute sessions are $40

Hours of Operation: Directions
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Wednesday- No reception hours will be available on Wednesdays. Pick-ups and drop-offs may be arranged ahead of time at the Angelcare Animal Hospital only 1/2 a mile away.
Saturday
Sunday
Closed all day.
As our reception staff is not required to be at the
facility on Saturday evening and Sunday,
after hours pick-up or drop-off charges will be applied
for all after hours drop offs or pick-ups.
($45.00 per animal, by appointment scheduled in advance only.)
Special Holidays may be at additional
rates.
Method of Payment:
We
accept Cash, Checks, Debit cards, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Stays over 7 days or any
stay with veterinary work being done will require a deposit of at least half down
of the estimated charges.
Pre-entry Checks:
All pets will be
given a pre-entry check upon arrival to observe the overall health of the pet
and check for fleas and ticks. If fleas or ticks are found, we must treat
the pet prior to entering our kennel, at the owner's expense. The check performed
is superficial only and does not replace a physical examination by a veterinarian.
Luggage:
You may bring extra
treats, and we will leave chew-toys such as: rolled rawhides (suitable to breed
and not knotted...we have Retriever Rolls for all and Soft Rawhides available for
smaller or older breeds), kongs, and nylabones in the kennels with your pet. Please do
not bring bowls, bedding, or crates, as we provide these items and we do not wish
your pet's favorite items to get lost. If you choose to leave personal items
with us, please keep in mind that we cannot be held
responsible for the loss of those items while your pet is vacationing with us.
Vaccine Requirements:
All pets are required to be current on vaccinations as well as a bi-annual Intestinal Parasite Screening. Written verification from your regular attending veterinarian is required upon entry into the facility.
Requirements:
For Dogs: Rabies, Distemper Combination, annual Leptospirosis, and annual Bordatella.
For Cats:
Rabies & annual Feline Distemper Combination; Feline Leukemia is recommended.
For Ferrets: Rabies, annual Distemper, Intestinal Parasite screening within last 6 months.
For Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Birds, and others: Intestinal Parasite Screening within last 6 months

Intestinal Parasite Info
Bi-annual
intestinal parasite screens are required all boarders,
even if the animal is on a Heartworm Disease preventative
that covers intestinal parasites year-round (i.e. Interceptor for dogs, Revolution
for cats). This is for the safety of both pets and humans alike...as MANY parasites
CAN BE transmitted to humans! The canines at Angelcare also share communal potty areas
and any possible transmission of these noxious parasites could be a most devastating
occurrence.
The veterinarians at Angelcare can update your pet's vaccinations or provide any
screenings upon arrival.
Medication Policy:
Most medications
that your pet requires can be continued during his/her stay. One medication is included in the boarding fee. Any additional medication will
be an $5.00 per day (but medication is unlimited- we will only charge $5 max to medicate the animal). Any injectable medication starts at $7.50 per
injection. All medications must be labeled by a veterinarian or the directions
must be written by the veterinarian on clinic letterhead. Or, the veterinarian
can fax the Prescription Directions to us. No medication will be administered
unless properly labeled / dispensed by the prescribing veterinarian.
Pet Taxi Service:
Sometimes, situations
arise and if this prevents you from being able to bring your pet in, we offer
a taxi service to pick up your pet from home to board with us. The cost for this
service is $15.00 and up (depending on destination) plus $.35 per mile, each way.
The pick up will be arranged with everyone's convenience in mind.
Pick-up Policies:
Photo Identification
is required for all check outs. We apologize for any inconvenience, but if you
do not have a Photo ID, we cannot release your pet. After hours pick-ups are at
an additional charge. If a special pick up is made after the date of entry, a
Credit Card number and faxed copy of a Driver License number (or other photo ID)
will be requested by our staff.
